Born in Woodland Hills, California and raised in Minnesota until the age of 17, Angelica Cassidy started her impressive career as a child actress working in film, television, and theater. Angelica spent her high school years doing musical theater and classical vocal training. At 9, she appeared in "Showboat" for two summers, playing young Kim, with the touring Broadway cast. She also did 26 episodes as a series regular in the nationally syndicated Fox television series, "Algo's Factory."
Angelica graduated high school early and returned to California pursuing her dreams of being a professional actress and singer. In 2015, she starred in the Netflix horror movie "The Chosen", playing a young mother whose child gets possessed. She was also in the indie film, "All Out Dysfunktion," delivering a gripping dramatic performance in a dark comedy turned tragedy. And in 2016, "No Woman's Face Remember", a short film she stars in, went to Cannes Film Festival. Three separate European film festivals nominated her for "Best Lead Actress In A Short Film", for her performance of a small town good girl, gone bad.
A prolific recording artist in multiple genres, Angelica has produced country, rock, pop, r&b, soul, and hip hop albums. Between June and October of 2016, she independently produced five singles and three music videos in her "Heal the World" series. In 2018, Angelica began production of her self written, self produced, and self-directed television series titled "Rollercoaster." She stars in this quirky, music filled comedy with her husband, Ian Paul Cassidy. The couple started Mr. Mugs Productions together, and co-created the series. An epic love story, with all the ups and downs along the way, "Rollercoaster" is a feel good show based on Angelica's life and the making of her new full length country-pop album.
